Mumbai, 12, October 2024: In a shocking incident, Baba Siddique, a former Maharashtra minister and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader, was shot at in Mumbai’s Bandra East on Saturday evening. The shooting occurred outside his MLA son Zeeshan Siddiqui’s office near Colgate ground in Nirmal Nagar.
Siddique, who was previously associated with the Indian National Congress, had joined the NCP in February 2024. He was admitted to Lilavati Hospital and his condition was being closely monitored where he was declared dead.
