Important diplomatic meetings are going to be held in the city of New Delhi since India will be hosting the 18th BRICS Leaders Summit in the coming days of September 12-13. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be meeting Russian President Vladimir Putin and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on September 11 while he is supposed to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping on September 12 during the BRICS Leaders Summit.

Russian President Putin has already reached New Delhi ahead of the upcoming BRICS Leaders Summit. The meeting between Modi and Putin is expected to be all about how to strengthen the strategic partnership between India and Russia, and there will be several other topics as well such as trade, energy, defense, investments and much more. It should also be mentioned that both the leaders have met before recently at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit in Bishkek.

The upcoming visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Iran will include meetings with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian against the backdrop of escalating tensions in West Asia. Bilateral relations and regional developments are set to be discussed along with issues of connectivity and the need for dialogue and diplomacy. India has been calling for peaceful resolution of disputes and safeguarding of civil as well as commercial interests in the region.
