As per the statistics from the market, the price of 24 carat gold stood at around ₹1,53,600 for 10 grams and the price of 22 carat gold stood at around ₹1,40,800 for 10 grams on Thursday. Prices are different from one city to another depending on several factors like taxations and price of gold ornaments etc.
This is the very reason why prices of 24 carat gold in the cities of Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai and Bengaluru were ₹1,53,060, ₹1,53,320, ₹1,53,120, ₹1,53,770 and ₹1,53 respectively.

From the figures in the market, the price of 24 carat gold was ₹1,53,600 per 10 grams, while the price of 22 carat gold was ₹1,40,800 per 10 grams on Thursday.
The price of 24 carat gold was ₹1,53,060 per 10 grams in Delhi, ₹1,53,320 per 10 grams in Mumbai, ₹1,53,120 per 10 grams in Kolkata, and ₹1,53,770.
Chennai became a city with the highest price, whereas Delhi had the lowest one according to the cited market figures.
Gold prices’ movement occurs in a period of high volatility of international gold market. International gold prices managed to recover on Thursday, as they reached near six-week lows in the previous trading day. At that time, investors assessed the implications of the last interest-rate increase by the US Federal Reserve. The dollar and oil prices also impacted gold prices.
