CAT 2026 admit card will be out on 4th November 2026, issued by IIM Indore. The candidates can download the hall ticket from the official website iimcat.ac.in after logging into the website. The examination will be held on November 29, 2026.
The CAT 2026 admit card is a compulsory document for the applicants applying to appear for the national level management entrance test. It carries important details such as the name of the applicant, registration number, examination center, allotted slot time, reporting time and important instructions.
The CAT 2026 admit card can be downloaded by candidates visiting iimcat.ac.in and logging into the website by using their registered user ID and password. Clicking on the CAT 2026 admit card link, they can download the PDF and print it out.
CAT exam 2026 will take place in three sittings on 29th November 2026, with each sitting spanning two hours. CAT Exam 2026 will take place in the following timings: First slot: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM; Second slot: 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM and Third slot: 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Students are advised to check the individual admit cards for the exact slot and time of reporting.
In terms of examination guidelines, students need to bring a printed version of the admit card along with the photo identity proof as per the official instructions. They are required to reach the examination centers well before the reporting time and ensure that they check the center before appearing for the test. Carrying any electronic gadgets, calculators and other prohibited articles are forbidden inside the examination hall, unless explicitly allowed.
Students are advised to check the instructions printed on their hall tickets and contact the help desk in case of any discrepancies in the information provided in the hall ticket. CAT scores will be utilized for admissions in the post graduate management courses offered by the Indian Institutes of Management and other participating institutes.
