Through Project GRID, the Delhi-based co-founders connect school students with practical building experiences, mentors and opportunities to develop their ideas.
NEW DELHI – Student entrepreneurs Moksh Sindhwani and Tanishq Aggarwal are building Project GRID, a student-led initiative that helps young people move from identifying everyday problems to creating and presenting practical solutions. Their shared aim is to give school students the resources, guidance and community to begin building while they are still in school.
Moksh, Co-Founder and CEO, contributes venture building, partnerships and programme strategy. Tanishq, Co-Founder and CTO, works across technology, programme architecture, prototyping and the digital systems that support student participation. Together, they combine organisational leadership with hands-on product development.
Project GRID reports a combined programme participation total of 2,013 across Aurora, AAROH and Metamorphosis, with a different role in each. Aurora, its online student hackathon, reached a reported 1,500 participants from 27+ countries. AAROH brought 363 young innovators to IIIT Delhi on 1-2 August 2026. Metamorphosis involved 150 students, with GRID serving as an outreach partner.
Organised with Tachyon India and CiPD, IIIT Delhi, AAROH featured AI/ML, game development, cybersecurity and hardware tracks, and recognised 13 teams. Aurora guided participants through ideas, prototypes and live pitches; GRID reports that its top 20 teams entered incubation. Metamorphosis, led by Tale of Humankind Foundation and IIT Delhi’s Office of Academic Outreach & New Initiatives, produced 36 student products.
The initiative follows a simple progression: understand a problem, build something testable, and present it for feedback. Its longer-term vision is to become a resource hub for youth-led innovation, helping promising ideas grow through mentorship, networks and continued support.
