The BJP plans to launch protests against Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge over his controversial comments about India’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. The proposed protest campaign by the BJP is anticipated to exacerbate the political rivalry between the two parties, which is continuing due to their mutual criticism over statements made.

The BJP has criticised Kharge’s comments and claims that a statement made against the Prime Minister should have a political response. The party wants to stage a protest campaign in order to show their disagreement with the statement made by the Congress party leader. Political activists of the BJP are likely to take part in the protests, which can take place in different places in the country.

The news is coming against the backdrop of the existing political rivalry between the ruling BJP and the opposition Congress. Representatives of the political parties often challenge each other with regard to political statements, politics, and the conduct of leaders.

These proposed demonstrations could offer the BJP the chance to once again criticise Kharge and bring the matter before a broader audience. In addition, this controversy could elicit more comments from other Congress leaders, thus continuing the back-and-forth between the two rival parties. Their reactions to the matter are bound to be crucial for their political debate.

In any case, any new information on the timing, location, and magnitude of the demonstrations is going to be crucial when assessing the actions of the BJP at this stage of the controversy. Once again, the current controversy is an illustration of political debates between the BJP and Congress.
