Goa has already discovered ecotourism and heritage tourism, and sports tourism adds an attractive layer. Domestic tourist arrivals increased by 5.36%, growing from 69.24 lakh in 2024 to 72.96 lakh in 2025.

International arrivals significantly grew by 29.33%, rising from 2.59 lakh visitors to 3.36 lakh.

Tourism remains one of Goa’s strongest economic pillars, as it continues to contribute 16.43% of the state’s GDP and generate approximately 40-45% of total direct and indirect employment.
