In a move set to transform IELTS test preparation in India, PhysicsWallah (PW) has joined hands with IDP Education India to help students strengthen their path toward studying abroad. The newly signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two organisations marks a major step in making high-quality IELTS coaching more accessible, structured, and student-centric.
For thousands of Indian students, clearing the IELTS exam is the first step toward fulfilling their dream of international education. Recognising this, PhysicsWallah and IDP Education have launched a collaborative initiative that goes beyond routine coaching. Under this partnership, PW students will gain access to an integrated learning experience featuring live interactive sessions, intensive boot camps, and expert-led masterclasses designed to build both skill and confidence.
The collaboration also introduces a new concept — IELTS Corners — to be set up on select PhysicsWallah campuses across India. These dedicated spaces will serve as student resource hubs, offering free preparation tools, discounted study materials, and personalised counselling sessions for those planning to study overseas. By combining IDP’s expertise in IELTS administration with PW’s wide student reach, the initiative aims to democratise access to global education guidance.
Atul Kumar, CEO – Online at PhysicsWallah, emphasised the broader vision behind the partnership, stating that it is about more than just exam readiness. “Our approach has always been student-first. Through this collaboration with IDP, we’re not just helping students prepare for an exam — we’re helping them prepare for a world of opportunities beyond borders,” he said.
Echoing the sentiment, Piyush Kumar, Regional Director, South Asia, Canada, and LATAM at IDP Education, said that the mission is to connect Indian learners with international education pathways through quality support. “Working with PhysicsWallah allows us to reach more aspirants with trusted resources and guidance so they can achieve their goals with confidence,” he added.
Together, the two education leaders aim to empower Indian students with the right knowledge, tools, and mentorship to perform their best in the IELTS test — turning the dream of studying abroad into a more achievable reality.
