Rescue Operations Intensify in Flood-Hit Uttarkashi
As rescue teams worked deep in the mountains at Dharali, which is located at over 8,600 feet above sea level, on Wednesday, August 6, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reported to a conference that two bodies had been recovered and that over 190 people had been rescued. He visited the affected areas himself.
