New Delhi: Vivo has extended its high-end tech lineup in India with the unveiling of Vivo V80, Vivo S2 FE, and Vivo X Fold6 devices at its NEXT 2026 event. Besides, the company has introduced OriginOS 7 and showcased Indian customers with its Vision Discovery Edition mixed reality headset.
Vivo X Fold6 happens to be the flagship offering amongst the newly unveiled devices. The foldable smartphone is equipped with an 8.02-inch inner AMOLED screen along with 6.51-inch outer display, with 120Hz refresh rates on both sides. It is backed by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super Edition chipset and has 12GB RAM along with 512GB internal storage. It sports a 6,900mAh battery, with fast-charging of 80W wired and 40W wireless charging. Its price tag is set at ₹2,19,999 and will be available for purchase starting October 13.
The Vivo V80 smartphone is made for photographers and content creators. The Vivo V80 boasts a 144Hz 1.5K OLED screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor and 7,200mAh battery with 90W fast charging.
Vivo S2 FE targets customers who want both design and longevity from their phone. It has a significant highlight in its 10,000mAh battery along with 50MP Sony primary camera and 32MP ultrawide self-camera. Moreover, Vivo has also highlighted that the phone has 1.5K AMOLED display and durability features.
Besides the above mentioned hardware features, Vivo has also launched OriginOS 7 in India. This operating system is based on Android 17 and emphasizes smoothness of performance, artificial intelligence features, productivity and connectivity on compatible Vivo devices. Rollout to existing phones will be done in phases starting with selected X series phones in October.
Furthermore, Vivo launched Vision Discovery Edition Mixed Reality headset. This is the first entry of the company in spatial computing. It has weight of 398 grams and uses Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 chip, dual micro-OLED displays, spatial audio and eye- and hand-tracking controls. Vivo has also created experience zones in selected stores in India for customers to experience the headset.
With the above-mentioned launches, Vivo has expanded beyond regular phones to include foldable phones, innovative software and mixed reality for Indian customers.
