Manesar, March 9, 2025– To mark International Women’s Day, SBI Cards and Payment Services Ltd., in association with Gramin Vikas Trust, Noida, and the Municipal Corporation of Manesar, organized a tree plantation drive at Kasan Lake, Manesar. This Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative emphasized environmental conservation while celebrating women’s achievements.

The event was graced by Mr. Hitesh Kumar Meena,, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Gurugram, Chief guest Chief People Officer, SBI Cards and Payment Services Ltd., as the guest of honor. The program concluded with participation from R.K. Kansal, CEO, GVT, Ajay Nirala, Executive Engineer, Municipal Corporation Manesar and officials of SBI Cards and Payment Services Ltd.), along with over 100 attendees.
The plantation took place in a 4.5-area surrounding the lake. Reinforcing the day’s significance, two young girls from Kasan village were felicitated for their achievements in sports.
Additionally, the event highlighted the CSR contributions and achievements of SBI Cards and Payment Services. Mr Hitesh Meena, ADC, Gurugram, addressed the gathering with the importance of conservation of water bodies for balancing nature and offering insights on environmental preservation and conservation and the impact of sustainable initiatives.
With this initiative, SBI Cards and Payment Services Limited continues to demonstrate its commitment to environment conservation and community development, reinforcing the role of corporate social responsibility in fostering a greener and more inclusive future.
