The School of Business Management, Noida International University, adds another feather to its cap by successfully organizing its International Conference “AI–Business Fusion: Leveraging Artificial Intelligence for Multidisciplinary Innovation and Sustainability (ICAIMIS–2026)” between 23rd and 24th January 2026 at its campus, with Taylor & Francis as the publishing partner. This two-day international conference brought together academicians, researchers, industry leaders, policymakers, and students from India and abroad to deliberate on the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in driving innovation, sustainability, and inclusive growth, further strengthening NIU’s commitment to academic excellence and global knowledge exchange.
In absentia, Dr. Devesh Kumar Singh, Honourable Chairman Sir, NIU, was felicitated in recognition of his exemplary leadership, visionary guidance, and sustained commitment to institutional development. The inaugural ceremony was graced by Prof. (Dr.) Vikram Singh, Honourable Chancellor, and Prof. (Dr.) Uma Bhardwaj, Honourable Vice Chancellor, Noida International University, who were honoured for their visionary leadership and continued institutional support. The Honourable Chief Guest, Prof. Rana Pratap Singh, Vice Chancellor, Gautam Buddha University, was felicitated by the Vice Chancellor Ma’am and, in his address, emphasized the pivotal role of Artificial Intelligence in building future-ready, innovation-driven institutions.
Keynote addresses at ICAIMIS–2026 were delivered by eminent national and international experts, including Prof. Dr. Prem Kumar Rajagopal, President of Malaysia University of Science & Technology (MUST), Malaysia; Dr. Tan Kim Lim, James Cook University Singapore, Managing Editor of Personnel Review and Associate Editor of the Journal of Global Responsibility; Prof. S. N. Mahapatra, Professor and Dean of Colleges, Deenbandhu Chotu Ram University of Science and Technology; Prof. Dr. V. K. Paliwal, Principal, Dyal Singh College, University of Delhi; Mrs. M. Lata Gautam, Director (Employment), Directorate General of Employment, Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India; Prof. Dr. M. K. Dutta, AI Scientist and Additional Pro Vice Chancellor, Amity University, Noida; Mr. Vivek Ranjan Rai, ACP, Cyber Crime Cell, Gautam Buddha Nagar; Dr. Manoj, Professor, Dyal Singh College, University of Delhi; and Prof. Ajay Kumar Singh, Ex-Dean and Chairperson, Delhi University Sports Council, University of Delhi.
Following the successful inaugural session, online and offline research paper presentation sessions were conducted across 15 different conference tracks under the supervision of expert session chairs. Parallel to these sessions, a highly engaging offline panel discussion was organized and moderated by Ms. Priti Goel, Founder, CEO, and Managing Director, Prisha Wealth Management Investment Adviser. The panel featured distinguished experts including Mr. Deepak Raj Tushir, CEO and Co-Founder, Binsar Farms Pvt. Ltd.; Mr. Abhaya Kant Srivastava, Global Head, Statistical AI Center of Excellence, TCS; Dr. Vijay Kumar Gahlawat, Professor, Department of Interdisciplinary Sciences, NIFTEM-K; and Mr. Amit Jawar, Sales and Marketing Head (FMCG), Patanjali, who shared valuable insights on the practical applications of Artificial Intelligence across diverse business domains.

The second day of ICAIMIS–2026 commenced with an address by Prof. (Dr.) Subhash Kumar Verma, Dean, School of Business Management and Conference Chair, in the presence of the Chief Guest Dr. Amarendra Sahoo (Grameen Pragati Foundation & HiWi Pay EXIM). This was followed by a keynote address delivered by Dr. Rahul S. Mor (University of Northampton, UK). An Industry & Start-up Panel, moderated by Mr. Shashank Saxena, featured Mr. Naveen Nanda (Havells India Ltd.), Ms. Geetika Batra, Ms. Ruhi Banerji, and Mr. Ajay Asthana (L&T), engaging participants in insightful discussions on ethics, policy frameworks, and innovation in the AI era.
The successful organization of ICAIMIS–2026 was led by Prof. (Dr.) Subhash Kumar Verma, Dean, School of Business Management and Conference Chair, and effectively coordinated by the Conference Co-Chairs Dr. Pooja Goel (HoD, SBM–NIU), Dr. Priyadarshani Singh, Dr. Richa Srivastava, and Dr. Ramneek Bawa. The dedicated efforts of all faculty members of the School of Business Management, who formed the organizing committee, ensured the smooth execution and overall success of the two-day hybrid international conference.
With nearly 300 delegates and 125 research paper presentations across 15 thematic tracks, ICAIMIS–2026 concluded by reinforcing the need for sustained academia–industry collaboration and reaffirming Noida International University’s commitment to research excellence and responsible AI-driven development.
