Noida Jungle Trail

Noida’s New Waste-to-Wonder Park Features Life-Size Animal Sculptures: Walk Among Tigers, Lions, and Giraffes

Noida is all set to welcome a new green marvel , the much-anticipated Noida Jungle Trail, a unique waste-to-wonder park that will open for public trials on June 25, with an official launch expected in early July. Developed under a public-private partnership (PPP) between the Noida Authority and Z-Tech India, the park is poised to become a flagship symbol of sustainability and urban recreation.

Sprawling across 20 acres, the park is strategically located to attract tourists and locals from Noida, Delhi, Greater Noida, and Faridabad. With an investment of ₹22 crore, the project is designed to serve both as an educational space and a recreational attraction, integrating nature, innovation, and sustainability.

Walk Among Tigers, Lions & Giraffes — Made from Scrap

The park’s most striking feature is its 700+ life-size animal sculptures representing species from six continents. From African lions, giraffes, and elephants to kangaroos, emus, tigers, and penguins, visitors can walk through themed zones and experience a lifelike jungle experience right in the heart of the city. These sculptures are not ordinary creations, they’re crafted entirely using recycled materials such as nuts, bolts, rods, chains, and fuel tanks.

Nearly 500 tonnes of iron waste have been transformed into artistic masterpieces, reinforcing the park’s alignment with the Swachh Bharat Mission and environmental innovation.

Themed Zones for a Global Wildlife Experience

The Noida Jungle Trail is divided into four immersive zones, each capturing the spirit and biodiversity of global ecosystems:

  • African Savannah: Featuring lions, giraffes, elephants, and other iconic animals.
  • Asian Jungles: Home to tigers, deer, and native bird species.
  • Australian Outback: Introduces visitors to kangaroos, emus, and more.
  • Polar Region: Complete with penguins and polar bears, offering a taste of the Arctic.

Each zone is crafted to offer an immersive travel experience both fun and informative, using repurposed materials to spark conversation around sustainable lifestyles.

Night Jungle Safari: A Magical After-Dark Experience

One of the park’s biggest highlights will be the night Jungle Safari, where animal sculptures come alive with ambient lighting and illuminated trails, offering visitors a magical after-dark adventure. According to Z-Tech Vice-President Isha Chaudhary, everything from gazebos to benches and lighting fixtures has been crafted using upcycled or recycled materials, creating an eco-conscious yet enchanting atmosphere.

Infrastructure and Inauguration Updates

While the park’s trail will be open for a trial run from June 25, the final touches are still underway. According to Anand Mohan Singh, Deputy Director (Horticulture), Noida Authority, elements like the main gate, cafeteria, and some paintwork are in the final stages of completion. The state government has extended an invitation to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to inaugurate the park officially.

A Milestone for Sustainable Urban Development

The Noida Jungle Trail stands as a powerful testament to how urban planning, eco-tourism, and waste management can come together to create iconic spaces. It’s a shining example of how lifestyle and sustainability can coexist in the modern cityscape.

Whether you’re a nature lover, a curious traveler, or a sustainability enthusiast, this waste-to-wonder park in Noida offers an unmatched experience that’s educational, inspiring, and Instagram-worthy.
