The citizens residing in Sector 43, Noida, have complained about a long power failure for almost 16
hours, disrupting their lives and making them question the electricity supply in this sector.
As per the complaints of local residents, the electricity failure has occurred suddenly and continued to
remain for a long time, affecting the daily lives, water supply system, and other basic amenities.
Besides this, a lot of problems have been faced by the residents due to a power failure during summer
when there is maximum heat in the city.
It was also heard from some of the citizens that despite their continuous complaints, no action had
been taken by the electricity supply authority in this regard.
The recent happening has yet again thrown light on the need to develop better maintenance and faster
response systems by the distributors of electricity in fast-growing urban regions such as Noida.
Citizens have been asking for an improvement in the reliability of their infrastructure and quicker
resumption of services in case of any disruption.
Though the officials have not yet issued an official statement on the cause of the power failure, such
instances indicate the existing problems faced by electricity distribution companies while coping with
the requirements of electricity supply and demand in densely populated areas.
Citizens are now looking for answers to solve such issues in the future.
