PM Modi Highlights Global South and Energy Needs at G7 Summit

Over the past six years, India has been invited every year for a total of twelve times to the worldwide summit, even though it is not a member of the G7.

Prime Minister Modi highlighted India’s global initiatives in his address at the G7 Summit and stressed the need to offer energy security for all through sustainable and environmentally friendly methods.

“AI is, by its very nature, an energy-intensive technology. According to Prime Minister Modi, India must have affordable, clean, and dependable energy. He further stated that the increasing demands of a tech-driven world can only be met sustainably by renewable energy.

He said that India believes every country in the Global South should benefit and that technology is only truly useful when its benefits are shared with everyone.
