Ranveer Singh Wraps Up Dhurandhar Shooting

There is a growing sense of optimism around the much-anticipated Bollywood film Dhurandhar, slated to be released in 2025, as the latest updates begin to pour in from the film’s production. Sources close to the production have confirmed that Ranveer Singh, who is playing the film’s principal character, has officially completed his work on Dhurandhar. The film is being produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios under the direction of Aditya Dhar, who is known for the 2019 blockbuster film Uri: The Surgical Strike.

Insiders have indicated that Ranveer Singh’s final day on the set was a celebration of accomplishment and was filled with happy emotions. “Ranveer put his heart and soul into this character, you were able to see that every day. When it came to his last day, it was emotional and fun for everyone,” an insider shared.

However, while Singh has completed his time on Dhurandhar, the shoot is not completely finished, as they have just two more to shoot with both Sanjay Dutt and Akshaye Khanna. The team will wrap up production of principal photography no later than October 15, keeping up with a rigorous production schedule.

The release date of December 5 is still set to proceed. Despite speculation in the industry about a delay of Dhurandhar, sources confirm that it is not postponed. The creators are determined to release their film on December 5. The post-production phase is now underway to ensure the film will be delivered with the highest quality for a grand theatrical release.

Additionally, the team is working on a teaser for Diwali that will provide a look into the world of Dhurandhar. It will provide greater insights from the previous first look, which had the stylized track of “Jogi” (Na De Dil Pardesi Nu). We can expect the Teaser of the project to be edited together faster, visually active, and characters will have even more exposure – and once again, will not reveal a line of dialogue – or divulge any further aspect to the plot.
